Welcome to Secure Residence. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Secure Residence, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. These Terms apply to all users including society admins, residents, and security personnel.

2. Description of Service

Secure Residence is a society management platform that provides:

• Visitor management with QR-based gate passes.
• Maintenance payment tracking and UPI collection.
• Society notices, complaints, and event management.
• Security guard access control with separate login.
• Admin tools including reports, ledger, and resident management.

3. User Accounts

Registration

Accounts are created by society administrators. Each user receives login credentials for their assigned role (Admin, Resident, or Security). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and truthful information.
• You are responsible for all activities under your account.
• You must notify your society admin immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Sharing your account credentials with others is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other societies' data.
• Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful material.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or servers.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Create fake visitor passes or misuse the gate pass feature.
• Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users through the app's communication features.

5. Subscription & Payments

Pricing

Secure Residence offers subscription plans billed per flat per month. Current pricing is available on our pricing page. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' prior notice.

Free Trial

New societies receive a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, you may choose a paid plan to continue. If you choose not to subscribe, your access will be limited but your data will be retained for 30 days.

Payments by Residents

Maintenance payments made through the app are between residents and their society/RWA. Secure Residence facilitates but is not a party to these transactions. We do not store UPI PINs or bank account details.

6. Intellectual Property

The Secure Residence app, website, logo, design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Secure Residence. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of Secure Residence is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. Each society's data is completely isolated and never shared across societies.

8. Disclaimers

• Secure Residence is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, though we strive for maximum uptime.
• We are not responsible for disputes between residents and society management regarding payments or complaints.
• Security decisions (allowing/denying visitor entry) remain the responsibility of the society and its security staff.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Secure Residence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

10. Termination

• By You: You may stop using the app at any time. Contact your society admin or us to request account deletion.
• By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with prior notice when possible.
• Effect: Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Data retention is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
