How do I download and install Secure Residence?

Download the APK directly from our website or the link shared by your society admin. Open the downloaded file on your Android phone, allow installation from unknown sources if prompted, and you're ready to go. Your admin will create your account and share your login credentials.
Is the app free for residents?

Yes! The app is completely free for residents to use. The subscription is paid by the society or RWA, not individual residents. You can view your maintenance dues, create gate passes, file complaints, and access all features at no cost.
How do QR gate passes work?
+
As a resident, you create a gate pass for your visitor (maid, delivery, guest) from the app. A unique QR code is generated which you can share via WhatsApp. When the visitor arrives, the security guard scans the QR code to instantly verify and log the entry — no phone calls needed.
What if our security guard doesn't have a smartphone?

Any basic Android phone works — even a ₹4,000 entry-level device. We recommend the society provide a shared device for the security post. The security login shows a simplified view with just the visitor log and QR scanner — designed for non-technical users.
How are maintenance payments handled?

Admins set up monthly maintenance charges. Residents pay instantly via UPI. The system uses a Zero-Fee model, so 100% of the money goes to the society's account. Admins verify the UTR proof in one tap to issue a digital receipt.
Is our society's data private and secure?

Completely. Each society's data is fully isolated — your residents, visitors, and payments are never visible to other societies. Data is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with row-level security. We never sell or share your data.
Does the app work on iOS / iPhone?

Currently, Secure Residence is available as a native Android app. For iOS users, we're working on an App Store release. In the meantime, iPhone users can access key features through the web interface shared by their admin.
